Operations job

The board of Glas Cymru has announced the appointment of Jim O'Sullivan as operations director for Glas Cymru and Dwr Cymru Welsh Water.

Mr O'Sullivan was safety and engineering director of National Grid Transco and was previously technical and quality director of British Airways. He is also a non-executive director of the Office of Rail Regulation.

He will join Welsh Water in September 2005.

Regional director

Kelvin Thomas has been appointed as regional director for Venture Finance Wales and West, based in Cardiff.

With the creation of this new role, the asset-based financier aims to provide its award winning services to the rapidly growing Welsh invoice finance market.

During the 10 years he has worked in the invoice-finance sector, Kelvin has played a significant role in educating Welsh SMEs on the benefits of such funding options. In particular, he is keen to promote the value of choosing an independent financier over similar services provided by many high street banks.

Feeling at home

Tribute Homes has appointed Kay Bevan, Richard Bowden and Neil Dorrian to its management ranks.

Combining a wealth of experience, each of the individuals is in a strong position to make an outstanding contribution as Tribute Homes continues to grow and develop.

Kay Bevan has a proven record in new home sales. Her experience will be greatly appreciated by new home-owners and potential buyers as she begins her role as sales manager at Tribute Homes.

Neil Dorrian, projects manager, has spent his working life on new housing sites since the age of 15.

His past employment with Redrow, Bellway and Westbury has been in the South West of England but now he is delighted to return to South Wales.

Proving its willingness to nurture new skills as well as acquire them, Tribute has appointed Richard Bowden, trainee assistant site manager, with a view to the future.
